Work Environment\n

As a Remote Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients through a telehealth platform, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a high standard of care. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours under a rotating shift schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, carefully evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, outlining treatment options and effective self-care methods.

• Maintain ongoing tracking of client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client's treatment.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to inform and enhance therapeutic practices.

• Document client sessions meticulously to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to continuously improve clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients and work toward de-stigmatizing mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing mood-related challenges, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. With a strong emphasis on providing sensitive and tailored care, you will engage with clients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, recognizing the unique factors that influence each individual's mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Florida.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally with a focus on mood disorders.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical experts.

• Proven experience in achieving positive client outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to form trusting relationships with clients.
