Work Environment\n

This remote role allows for flexibility, enabling you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home. While your primary hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders, evaluating their symptoms’ severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that individual needs and therapeutic goals are considered.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver targeted interventions that promote mental wellness.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorder management, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, adapting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care approach that maximizes patient outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure quality care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to promote shared learning and the exchange of best practices among colleagues.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness around mood disorders, reducing stigma, and supporting their rights to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with clients grappling with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, chronic anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The demographics of our clientele encompass a broad age range and cultural backgrounds, thus requiring a culturally competent and sensitive approach to therapy that respects individual experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically tailored for mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from all walks of life.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
