Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely remote, offering the flexibility to connect with clients through various digital platforms while working standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While most sessions will occur during typical working hours, occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, including the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques to each client’s preferences.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and empower them with self-care strategies to enhance their recovery process.

• Continuously monitor client progress, documenting sessions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Work in harmony with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest treatment modalities and research findings related to mood disorders.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and collaborative planning sessions to foster a culture of shared knowledge and support.

• Advocate for the destigmatization of mental health issues and promote awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will be working with a diverse clientele, allowing you to employ cultural competence and sensitivity in your approaches to treatment. Each client's journey will enable you to cultivate strong therapeutic relationships as you guide them toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of experience post-licensure, particularly in the treatment of mood disorders.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Knowledgeable in psychopharmacology with a capacity for effective collaboration with medical professionals.
\n
• A successful history of achieving favorable outcome metrics in mood disorder treatment.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience working within community mental health settings is preferred. Familiarity with digital mental health platforms and teletherapy techniques will be viewed as a significant advantage, enabling you to effectively engage clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits\n
