Work Environment\n

This role operates remotely within a collaborative framework that bridges virtual and in-person support, enhancing client accessibility and engagement. As a part of our community health clinic, you will leverage technological tools and virtual communication platforms to connect with clients and coordinate with other healthcare professionals. The position supports a flexible work-life balance, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaboratively create client-centered treatment plans that address specific needs, aspirations, and preferences, employing a thorough understanding of therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed specifically for mood disorders, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster impactful mental health outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders and treatment options, while fostering self-care strategies to enhance existing coping mechanisms.

• Track and monitor the progress of clients through continuous assessment of their treatment journey, making adjustments to plans as necessary to better align with their evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to guarantee that clients receive integrated care tailored to their mental health requirements.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mood disorder treatment and continually integrate new information into practice to enhance the quality of care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with regulatory and ethical standards governing mental health care.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings for continuous professional development and exchange of best practices, enhancing your clinical skills.

• Advocate for de-stigmatization of mood disorders and support clients' mental health needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, particularly those affected by depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. You will engage with a diverse population that includes varied socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, and cultural identities, fostering a rich learning environment that enhances your therapeutic practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• Demonstrated experience with a minimum of two years of post-licensure practice focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT for treating mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, with a proven ability to work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
