Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans grounded in thorough psychosocial assessments and evidence-based social work interventions.

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with community resource organizations, representing MindShift Behavioral Health at meetings and on committees that focus on addressing holistic patient needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention as needed, conducting assessments and tailoring treatment approaches to address the emotional and behavioral issues of diverse patient populations.

• Maintain open and effective communication with physicians and other medical professionals, regularly updating them on patient progress, emerging needs, potential barriers, and any issues affecting therapeutic outcomes.

• Ensure meticulous record-keeping by documenting clinical encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with departmental policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. With a focus on recovery-oriented practices, your role will help clients navigate their unique struggles, from anxiety and depression to substance use disorders. Your ability to empathize and communicate effectively will be pivotal in creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with other therapists, medical staff, and patients.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• A valid state licensure as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).

• Proficient knowledge of theoretical frameworks, assessment methodologies, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on compassionate care and clear expression.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methodologies will be highly regarded. Familiarity with integrated care models that combine physical and mental health services is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
