Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories, identifying the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize each patient's unique journey toward trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Guide individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma and establishing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Maintain collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for affected individuals.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and accessible community resources, empowering them in their recovery process.

• Keep thorough and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards to support effective communication and care consistency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals who are navigating the complexities of trauma, including those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Given our commitment to a trauma-informed care model, success in this role will hinge on your understanding of the psychological ramifications of trauma and your ability to adapt therapeutic practices to meet the specific needs of this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care strategies.

• Ability to employ trauma-focused interventions effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
