Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering healing and resilience among patients:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and formulate effective treatment approaches.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each patient, focusing on their recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma and teaching effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for our patients.

• Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and interventions as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping skills, and available resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
