Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and are paired with appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and trauma recovery.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your clinical practice.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma and build effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients.

• Offering crisis intervention and support as required during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective response.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and community resources available to them.

• Maintaining confidential and thorough documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. These populations require sensitive and informed care tailored to their unique experiences and recovery journeys. You will work to foster a therapeutic alliance that empowers clients and supports their healing processes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and evidence-based approaches to support recovery.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient and accurate documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Although a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with extensive training or specialized trauma certifications may also be considered. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions will be a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
