Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather patients' trauma histories and identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and patient-driven goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), effectively in your sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through trauma processes, teaching coping strategies, and encouraging healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive treatment plans and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support in response to trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies while informing them about additional community resources available.

• Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards by maintaining precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and progress.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with ongoing professional development and industry best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, particularly those grappling with PTSD, complex trauma experiences, and dissociative disorders. You will foster a trusting and safe space that encourages openness and recovery, supporting patients through their most challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• A strong knowledge base regarding trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
