This position operates in a fully remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology to deliver quality care to our patients from the comfort of their homes. The remote nature of this role means flexibility in your daily routine while maintaining a structured schedule, with working hours set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some adaptation in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate the diverse needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to effectively gauge patients' trauma histories and determine optimal treatment strategies.

• Create detailed, individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and enhance resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in their healing journeys.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma while developing effective coping strategies.

• Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, exhibiting strong judgment and a compassionate approach during critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them further.

• Thoroughly document patient information, maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards regarding confidentiality.

• Participate actively in team consultations, professional development sessions, and ongoing training focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy by engaging in continual education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus in this role will be on trauma survivors, including individuals affected by PTSD, those experiencing complex trauma, and clients presenting with dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, offering culturally competent care tailored to the specific needs of each individual. Your insightful understanding of trauma-related issues will enable patients to embark on their journey toward healing and recovery within a safe and trusting environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise in the field.
