Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Quail Run Health System, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and craft effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that promote trauma recovery and resilience, using evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma, enhance coping skills, and foster healing.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care tailored to patient needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

• Educate patients and their loved ones about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available to support their mental health journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of our trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating the challenges of trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates are required to possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Texas.

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
