Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories and psychosocial functioning, aiding in the formulation of effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, with an emphasis on client's goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both one-on-one and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and enhance their overall well-being.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, working swiftly to help clients navigate their experiences.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and other related mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to engage with diverse demographics, ensuring that each patient receives tailored treatments that address their specific situations and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities, including resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine and compassionate approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
