Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a fully remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver therapy services. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient availability. This approach not only prioritizes patient care but also promotes work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments that are trauma-informed, assessing patients’ histories and identifying appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and a network of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their family members about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to promote collaborative care approaches and continuous improvement in treatment practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy and integrate these insights into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who are grappling with the aftermath of trauma. This includes patients affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and other trauma-related disorders. You will address various age groups, offering tailored support to meet the developmental and emotional needs of each client. Your compassionate approach will help create a safe space where patients can navigate their feelings and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a trauma-focused setting.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapy interventions (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT) is crucial to ensuring effective treatment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate high-stress situations with professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
