Working hours are structured Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' histories and present their specific treatment needs.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and the development of coping skills.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients work through their traumatic experiences, enhance their coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaboratively engage with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to maintain integrated, well-rounded care for all patients.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, while connecting them with relevant community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing EHR systems for efficient record-keeping.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops concentrated on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and clinical best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who are coping with severe emotional disturbances stemming from traumatic experiences. Your role will focus on guiding trauma survivors through their recovery process, assisting them in navigating their personal challenges, and promoting resilience in the face of adversity. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating a supportive atmosphere for patients who may have faced significant stigmas or challenges in accessing mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of New Jersey.

• 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed therapy modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of direct clinical experience is required, candidates with additional specialized training in trauma therapy, evidence-based therapeutic methods, or related certifications will be strongly preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
