This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. You will work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through telehealth platforms. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be needed to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and recommend applicable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, tailoring approaches to each client's unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients through their healing journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and promote overall mental health and healing.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all clients.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations and provide necessary interventions during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new findings into the therapeutic process.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma and those coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with clients who may be navigating significant emotional pain, equipping them with the tools they need to foster resilience and recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience.
