Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ trauma histories.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique path to recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients develop coping strategies and process their experiences of trauma.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention as needed, ensuring patient safety and support during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma-related issues, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation according to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n
