Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, providing you with the ability to create a conducive work-life balance. You will engage with a supportive team during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations to ascertain the severity and duration of mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft individualized treatment plans based on their specific symptoms, life contexts, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate improvements in clients' mental health.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress through ongoing assessments and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for complex cases.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, and continuous professional development opportunities.
\n
• Advocate for client needs, promoting de-stigmatization of mental health issues and enhancing access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our patient population is diverse, including clients from various cultural, social, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This unique demographic will require you to employ culturally sensitive approaches as you engage with clients empathetically and effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based modalities to treat mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience with mood disorder treatment is essential, candidates with a track record of successful therapeutic outcomes and familiarity with psychopharmacology will stand out. Experience in a community health setting is also desirable, along with ongoing professional engagement in evidence-based practice developments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
