This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide remote, telehealth therapy, specifically aiming to support individuals grappling with trauma-related issues. Work Environment\n

This role operates in a telehealth setting, granting flexibility and convenience while empowering counselors to engage with clients from the comfort of their homes. Our work schedule is generally Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for some flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ trauma histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery, coping strategies, and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to ensure effective therapy delivery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for patients to process trauma and cultivate healing.
\n
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, interacting with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to mitigate distress and facilitate immediate therapeutic responses.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them on their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to ongoing learning and adaptation of trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continually improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, ranging from adults to adolescents. Our clients often present with complex psychological and emotional challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Therefore, a deep understanding of these issues and the ability to provide compassionate support are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Arizona.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling.
\n
• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, promoting a calm therapeutic atmosphere.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
