Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients’ trauma history and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma, managing coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrated care approach that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in line with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to promote shared learning and enhance treatment efficacy.

• Stay current with the latest research and practices in trauma therapy to refine your skills and service delivery.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, from life-altering events to complex, long-term trauma. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a demonstrated history of providing trauma-focused therapy. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
