Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to establish an understanding of each patient’s trauma history and current mental health status.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients articulate their trauma experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and facilitate emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan that addresses the comprehensive needs of each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and care.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on enhancing your trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of individuals who have endured trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise in trauma-focused therapy will be essential in providing the compassionate care necessary to aid their recovery and empower them toward resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and an understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
