Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Trauma-Informed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote, full-time team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, and possess a profound understanding of trauma care, ensuring that clients receive compassionate and professional support as they journey through the healing process.

Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing therapists to work comfortably from their chosen locations while reaching clients through our telehealth platform. Our team operates under a supportive structure that encourages collaboration and continuous learning. While maintaining flexibility to accommodate patient needs, our standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote recovery.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance their resilience.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and ongoing support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate care and guidance.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to empower their healing journey.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical regulations.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education sessions focused on best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Peace and Purpose, you will work with a diverse population of trauma survivors, ranging from adults experiencing PTSD to individuals struggling with complex trauma and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
