Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments, gaining insights into patients' trauma histories and identifying effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, emphasizing goals of trauma recovery and the development of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe environment for patients to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to individuals during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive timely support.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality care is recorded and communicated effectively.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to advance strategies in trauma-informed care and improve patient outcomes.

• Stay updated with current research and best practices in trauma therapy and integrate new knowledge into therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Stem Psychological Center, you will work with a diverse population of trauma survivors. Our clients include individuals from varying backgrounds and age groups who are dealing with the effects of trauma, PTSD, and related mental health challenges. Your role as a therapist will focus on providing dedicated support to help these individuals navigate their recovery journeys, uphold their dignity, and empower them towards a path of healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, compliant with Arizona requirements.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant setting is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficient understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and successfully working with diverse clientele.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• The ability to maintain composure under pressure and respond effectively in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications necessary for documentation and patient care.

• A team-oriented mindset with the capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional training in trauma-focused therapy or innovative therapeutic techniques will be viewed favorably. Experience working in a community health setting and being part of a multidisciplinary team will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are proud to offer a competitive salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
