Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique experiences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are centered around trauma recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' needs, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that help patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals, ensuring a holistic and integrated care approach for each patient.

• Be prepared to provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies with compassion and effective strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Quail Run Health System, the primary focus is on individuals who have experienced substantial trauma, including but not limited to those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population often consists of diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring a therapist equipped with both the knowledge and empathy to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW , LPCC , or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, along with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications to manage patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is ideal.

• Prior experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that support trauma recovery.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Quail Run Health System offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
