Work Environment\n

This role is designed as a remote opportunity, allowing for a flexible work schedule while maintaining a strong connection to our supportive clinical community. The typical work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments that detail patients' trauma histories and identify their specific treatment needs.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, emphasizing the healing process, coping strategy development, and community support.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, ensuring continuity and comprehensiveness in treatment.

• Respond to crisis situations, offering crisis intervention and support as needed to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in continuous professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and staying up-to-date with current research in trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
