This position offers a flexible and convenient remote work setting, allowing counselors to manage their schedules while focusing on patient care. While the primary role is performed from home, counselors may occasionally engage in clinical supervision and team meetings via video conferencing. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients’ needs and form appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention services as required, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.
\n
• Facilitate follow-up care, actively monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to ensure holistic patient management.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions, focusing on various therapeutic techniques and methodologies to enhance group dynamics and individual participation.
\n
• Complete and maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and case consultations to continuously improve treatment methods and professional skills.
\n
• Participate actively in treatment planning meetings and case conferences, contributing insights for client care improvement.
\n
• Administer psychological testing as needed, interpreting results to guide therapeutic interventions and recommendations.

• Supervise and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, helping them grow in their roles and enhance their understanding of mental health practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of a valid California State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders including clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting, specifically in providing assessments and therapeutic interventions.

• Familiarity with mental health policies, regulations, and best practices.

• Prior experience leading group therapy sessions is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, Valiant Mind Counseling offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
