Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough outpatient mental health evaluations to assess the needs and goals of each patient.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapies, family systems, and patient recovery preferences.

• Provide both individual and family therapy sessions to offer tailored support and interventions.

• Coordination of discharge planning and aftercare to ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning out of acute settings.

• Participate in monthly clinical case reviews with the Lead Psychologist to enhance treatment effectiveness and address complex cases.

• Create comprehensive assessments that guide treatment planning and document client progress in compliance with clinical standards and state regulations.

• Maintain clear communication with clients and their families to cultivate trusting therapeutic relationships.
\n
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

• Adapt to additional tasks as assigned in order to meet the evolving needs of our patient population and organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse patient population, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Our clients range from children to elderly adults, reflecting the community’s needs within Oxnard and surrounding areas. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your expertise will be vital in facilitating their healing journey and enhancing their mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
