Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ histories and treatment needs clearly.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and promote lasting resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care that meets the diverse needs of each patient.

• Respond to crisis situations with compassion, providing immediate support and intervention as required.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to them for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and professional development workshops focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research, techniques, and trends in trauma therapy to continuously refine your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be helping clients who have experienced significant trauma or distress. This can include individuals facing PTSD, those recovering from complex trauma, and others with dissociative disorders. As you work with these clients, your interventions will significantly contribute to their healing journey, enhance their coping skills, and rebuild their sense of safety and trust.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure to practice as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Experience in delivering clinically effective, trauma-focused therapy interventions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an empathetic approach to client care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring client safety and support.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.

• Willingness to collaborate within a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to a large and diverse clinical staff.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in working with trauma survivors through evidence-based therapeutic modalities is highly desirable. Familiarity with virtual care best practices in a telehealth setting will enhance your effectiveness in this flexible work environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
