Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments with clients, documenting their mental, behavioral, and emotional health throughout the treatment process.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities that promote healing and resilience.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to establish comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Follow up on clients who are hospitalized, maintaining communication with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure continuity of support.

• Support family members and significant others by providing psychoeducation and strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As our Mental Health Counselor, you will work with clients of various ages and backgrounds, advocating for their unique needs and employing culturally competent approaches to therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is essential.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

• You must have previous experience delivering mental health counseling services, providing you with the practical skills necessary to excel in this role.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 and includes a sign-on bonus.
