Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' histories and current mental health statuses, ensuring appropriate treatment paths are identified.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and fostering resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's unique situation.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, cultivate effective coping strategies, and make progress towards their mental health goals.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses all dimensions of patient well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support is provided to clients in distress.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, helping them understand the therapeutic process and available resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to document patient interactions and treatment progress.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities focused on trauma-informed care, as well as participate in relevant case discussions.

• Stay updated on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

The primary focus of this role will be individuals suffering from trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
