Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, including identifying the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaboratively create personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions to effectively address both mental health and substance use concerns.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on developing coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques tailored to our clients' needs.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring, employing motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients in their recovery process.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of treatment adherence.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clients' treatment progress, interventions implemented, and referrals, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities to deepen your expertise in treating co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current, active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Compensation and Benefits\n
