Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of older adult clients to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Engage in active listening during one-on-one counseling or psychotherapy sessions to provide targeted support.

• Collaborate with colleagues during treatment planning meetings to evaluate and refine treatment programs that effectively address clients' mental health challenges.

• Develop and maintain detailed clinical documentation, including intake summaries, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards.

• Facilitate outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring sessions to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of community resources, researching and referring clients as needed to ensure comprehensive support beyond counseling sessions.

• Maintain an effective caseload and participate in periodic on-call rotation to provide crisis management as required.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Welfare (clinical track), Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Active LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent licensure to practice in California is required; we are unable to accept applications from professionals holding an associate license due to Medicare billing practices.

• Proficiency in using computer-based documentation systems and Microsoft Office Suite; comfort with technology is essential for remote service delivery.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client cases effectively in a fast-paced virtual environment.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with colleagues and clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
