Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine the appropriate treatment methodologies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to guide clients through trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building and self-efficacy.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each client.

• Offering crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor during high-stress situations.

• Educating clients and their support systems about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their awareness and resilience.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring all client interactions are recorded for continuity of care.

• Participating actively in professional development activities and team meetings focused on the latest research, methodologies, and shared learning experiences in trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting with a focus on trauma.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating compassion and empathy in interactions with clients.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating independent critical thinking abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
