Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, which means you'll enjoy the benefits of working from home while still making a significant impact on the lives of our patients. Your typical work schedule will fall between Monday and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although flexibility may be needed to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. Remote collaboration with colleagues and participation in regular team meetings are essential components of maintaining communication and support within our therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment pathways.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific trauma recovery goals and enhance patients' resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with a safe space to process trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Respond to trauma-related crises with professionalism, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to aid in recovery.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and staying current with the latest research in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At the Miracles of Life Psychotherapy Center, our focus is primarily on individuals affected by trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, providing them with the compassionate care needed to navigate their recovery journeys. The ability to connect with patients empathetically and authentically will be essential in helping them find healing and hope.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care being highly preferable.

• Robust knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities designed to support trauma recovery.

• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and the establishment of trusting relationships with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
