Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and customize treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized, goal-focused treatment strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, resilience, and therapeutic growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in overcoming their challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their trauma, enhance coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and effective support during critical trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources to foster a supportive home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with adults who have experienced significant trauma and may struggle with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related disorders. Our patients often include those coping with the aftermath of traumatic life events such as abuse, loss, or major life transitions. By understanding the diverse backgrounds and needs of these individuals, you will play a crucial role in guiding them through their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure therapeutic experience is preferred, demonstrating practical skills in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
