The remote work environment promotes flexibility, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with some adaptability based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients’ trauma histories, which will inform suitable treatment methods.

• Formulate and execute personalized treatment plans that focus on the patients’ recovery from trauma and strengthening their resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapy sessions effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies, contributing significantly to their healing journey.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care that maximizes outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, helping to stabilize and secure clients’ wellbeing.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and equip them with coping mechanisms and resources to enhance their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals affected by various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficient application of trauma-focused therapies.
