Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and guide the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote holistic healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that treatment plans are holistic and integrated.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your skills to stabilize and guide them toward further care.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources, enhancing their overall support network.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
