Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine client needs, evaluating the severity and impact of mood disorders on daily functioning.

• Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals based on their unique situations and aspirations.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address mood and behavioral challenges.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders and effective self-care practices.

• Continuously monitoring client progress, meticulously adjusting treatment plans when necessary to address evolving challenges and outcomes.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to mental wellness.

• Staying abreast of advancements in mental health practices and integrating new research findings into therapy sessions.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A valid mental health licensure as either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, along with current licensure.
\n
• A deep understanding of California laws and professional ethics pertaining to mental health practices.
\n
• Documentation of a recent TB test (within the last 6 months) and a successful background check through the FBI and DOJ.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications above, we prefer candidates with at least three years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling, particularly working with individuals facing mood disorders or behavioral challenges. Experience in addiction treatment or collaborating in a multidisciplinary team is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
