Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each client's mental health and substance use concerns, utilizing standardized tools and your clinical expertise to identify co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to craft customized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique challenges and leveraging methodologies like Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, where you will empower clients by teaching them essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques that foster resilience.

• Engage collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that all aspects of the client's care are coordinated efficiently, including regular communication with psychiatrists and nursing staff.

• Regularly monitor clients' substance use and provide ongoing motivational support, reinforcing their commitment to recovery during therapeutic sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about the vital connection between mental health and substance use, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans and strategies for recovery.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation regarding treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
