Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexible working conditions while maintaining collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals in the field of mental health. You will engage with colleagues through virtual meetings, case consultations, and training workshops, ensuring robust support and communication. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and identify the needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with the developmental stages of the clients and address family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to treat a variety of mental health disorders in young individuals.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower caregivers and promote supportive home environments.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for families during mental health emergencies impacting children and adolescents.

• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Your work will center around a diverse group of children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of young individuals dealing with various conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues, while also supporting their families in understanding and managing these challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Proficient understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and family therapy tailored for young populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a child-focused approach.
\n
• Ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their caregivers.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and various computer applications pertinent to clinical documentation and communication.

• Capacity to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting focused on child and adolescent mental health.

• Experience with conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating parent support groups is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
