Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients’ needs and strengths, paving the way for customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective interventions tailored to individual situations.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster community learning and provide essential support to people experiencing similar mental health issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, responding swiftly to mental health emergencies to ensure client safety and support.
\n
• Keep clients informed about their mental health conditions and discuss treatment options, ensuring they understand available community resources to support their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to continuously enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Stay informed about emerging trends and research in mental health therapy, implementing new insights into practice as applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse patient populations, including individuals facing significant mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. You will provide culturally competent care, recognizing and respecting the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is essential.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong command of various evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy is preferred, especially with diverse client demographics.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to handle challenging situations with sound judgment.

• Proficient in using electronic health records systems and other applicable software technologies.
\n
• A team player mentality and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaborative practices is advantageous.

• Additional certifications or specialized training in evidence-based therapies (e.g., DBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
