Our outpatient office operates remotely, giving you the flexibility to provide therapy within a supportive virtual setting. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet the varied needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health evaluations, assessing patients' histories to inform treatment decisions.

• Craft individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and long-term coping strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your therapeutic practice.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and cultivate coping mechanisms.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients dealing with trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives related to trauma-informed care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, strategies, and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver cutting-edge care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, employing a patient-centered approach to encourage healing and resilience. You will support a diverse clientele, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be crucial in facilitating both individual healing journeys and collective support within group therapy settings.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies are essential.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems and an aptitude for various computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, willing to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, specifically in trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
