Your work hours will generally be Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours required based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of each client, identifying co-occurring mental health and substance use issues to create a solid understanding of their unique situations.

• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions with the goal of equipping clients with essential coping skills, strategies for relapse prevention, and techniques for emotional regulation.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nurses, ensuring a seamless and integrated treatment experience.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and motivational interviewing to encourage clients through their recovery journeys.
\n
• Provide informative resources and education to clients and their families about the interaction between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of compliance with treatment plans.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation regarding treatment progress and clinical interventions while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and case conferences that focus on improving skills relevant to the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with both mental health issues and substance use disorders. This includes those experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and other psychological challenges, combined with addiction-related difficulties. You will provide compassionate support and guidance tailored to the unique narratives of each client, empowering them to achieve recovery milestones and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Experience in utilizing evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders.

The salary range for this position is competitive, valued between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, along with potential performance bonuses.
