Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, strengths, and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on goals related to trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)—to facilitate healing and coping strategies.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the trauma processing journey and promoting adaptive coping strategies.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate care.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of accountability.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development events to enhance skills and knowledge related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practices as appropriate.

You will primarily work with trauma survivors from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who have experienced PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the psychological effects of trauma, as well as the ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet each patient’s unique circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
