Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, preferences, and specific needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions that support patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and behavioral health professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals affected by trauma. Patients may present with various trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and dissociative conditions. Your work will be centered around creating tailored interventions that facilitate recovery and promote emotional well-being in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is essential for this role.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
