Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Quail Run Health System, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans designed to foster trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing a patient-centered approach.

• Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing creative techniques to help patients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, comprehensive care for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring appropriate care and safety for our clients.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, practical coping mechanisms, and available community resources for further support.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards within the field.

• Participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have faced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, military combat, and other distressing experiences. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, providing strong therapeutic support to clients.
