Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while supporting patients through virtual platforms. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to accommodate patient appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to identify patients' unique trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide crisis intervention and support, particularly during trauma-related emergencies, to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

• Engage in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to coordinate integrated care plans.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms through workshops and informational sessions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, fulfilling legal and ethical standards in patient care.

• Actively participate in case consultations and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
