You will work in a flexible, remote setting, but be part of a closely-knit team that collaborates to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients. Our outpatient model allows you to deliver care through virtual means while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and empathy. While the majority of your work will be conducted remotely, you may occasionally meet in person for team meetings and community engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique history and treatment needs.

• Collaborate with patients to create and implement personalized treatment plans focused on achieving trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other recognized trauma-focused therapies.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, learn coping strategies, and support their healing journey.

• Work closely with a team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses all aspects of patient well-being.

• Respond to crisis situations promptly and provide essential support to patients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma-related responses and coping methods, promoting understanding and reducing stigma.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing your insights and learning from peers to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually refine your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced a variety of trauma-related conditions, particularly post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. By delivering compassionate, tailored therapy, you will help clients navigate their challenges and rebuild their lives, fostering an environment of trust and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• Strong understanding of trauma-responsive treatment modalities and their application in clinical settings.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.
