Thrive Space Counseling Services is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team in Pueblo, Colorado. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify clients’ individual experiences and underlying issues, leading to tailored treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, customizing approaches based on clients’ diverse cultural backgrounds and unique situations.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using dynamic strategies to address various mental health concerns and promote patient resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to plan and coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of the patient’s health are addressed.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, remaining calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Educate clients and families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and understanding.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

• Stay updated on research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations, integrating this knowledge into daily clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with marginalized and underserved populations, focusing on individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those facing the challenges of mental health stigma. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to cultural competence.

• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive practices.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure and provide effective support in challenging scenarios.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
