Work Environment\n

This position allows you to work remotely, utilizing telehealth technology to provide counseling services from the comfort of your own space. Our telehealth facility is equipped with advanced digital tools that ensure seamless communication and effective therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, including social workers, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCs, all dedicated to improving client mental health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and interviews, documenting client cases from the start of treatment through to completion.
\n
• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, identifying key areas for intervention.
\n
• Develop detailed and personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress systematically, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to coordinate and enhance intervention strategies.
\n
• Oversee referrals to other healthcare specialists and follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for hospital-admitted clients.
\n
• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, working closely with clients and their support systems.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a broad range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health conditions. By employing a client-centered approach, you will tailor your interventions to reflect the unique experiences and needs of each individual or family, fostering an inclusive and respectful therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, with AVATAR being highly desirable.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience addressing co-occurring physical and emotional health challenges and addiction disorders.

• In-depth knowledge of the effects of psychotropic medications prescribed by healthcare professionals.
