As a part of our dedicated clinical team, additional tools such as electronic health record (EHR) systems are employed for effective management of client information and therapy notes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments through virtual sessions to evaluate the mental and emotional well-being of clients, enabling the formulation of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to deliver effective individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.

• Regularly reassess client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes in their mental health journey.

• Facilitate referrals to specialized healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when clients require additional support or pharmacological interventions.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress in the EHR system while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients who are navigating a wide range of mental health disorders and conditions. You will engage with individuals experiencing challenges related to substance use, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Understanding the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients is crucial; therefore, cultural competence is an essential aspect of our therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health counseling.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health conditions, evidence-based treatment modalities, and an understanding of cultural considerations in therapy.

• Proven experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions using inclusive therapeutic techniques.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure under stress.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills enabling you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and a strong grasp of various computer applications.

• A commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applicants with a diverse range of experiences, candidates with prior telehealth counseling experience and familiarity with evidence-based therapies, such as CBT or DBT, will be viewed favorably. Experience working with significant populations, including adolescents and marginalized communities, will also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
